Mike Huson: Hi my name is Mike Huson, I’m a physical therapist. I’m here today to talk about exercises for Pre-Knee surgery. This exercise is a straight leg raise; to complete this exercise you’re gonna want to tighten this thigh muscle here, keeping the knee straight, holding for two seconds. Repeat this exercise ten times and complete three sets. This exercise is important because it strengthens your quadricep as well as your hip flexor, which are both used during walking.
