Mike Huson: Hi my name is Mike Huson, I’m a physical therapist. I’m here to talk about exercises post-knee surgery. This exercise is for hip ab and adduction. And to complete this exercise I’m gonna tighten your thigh muscles, slide your foot out to the side, keeping your toe pointed straight up in the air, and the return it to its original position. Complete this exercise ten times and repeat for three sets. This exercise is important to strengthen your thigh muscles as well as your hip and buttocks muscles which are used during walking.
